2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to visitors, account holders, and authorized users of AI Social Agent. It covers data we process as a service provider on behalf of our business customers ("Controllers") and data we process to operate the platform itself.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Account and profile information
- Name, company name, email address, and/or phone number
- Login credentials (passwords are stored hashed; we do not store plain-text passwords)
- Workspace settings, notification preferences, and billing configuration
3.2 Facebook / Meta platform data
When you connect Facebook through our Integrations page, you authorize us via Facebook Login for Business to access data from Facebook Pages and business assets you select. Depending on the permissions you grant, we may receive:
- Page information — Page IDs, Page names, and Page access tokens for Pages you connect
- Lead Ads data — lead form submissions (for example name, phone, email, and custom form answers) retrieved using the
leads_retrievalpermission - Page engagement data — posts, comments, reactions, insights, and follower metrics for connected Pages
- Messenger data — messages sent to your connected Page, sender profile name/ID for inbox display, and replies you send through our platform
- Advertising data — ad account identifiers and campaign metadata when you use optional boost/post features
- Instagram data — linked Instagram professional account username/ID when you enable cross-posting features
We do not request consumer profile permissions such as user_friends, user_gender, or user_birthday. App sign-in uses email/phone and password — not Facebook Login for consumer authentication.
3.3 Google platform data (future integrations)
If we add Google Sign-In or Google API integrations in the future, we will request only the permissions needed for the stated feature, update this policy before launch, and describe the data collected in our product and in the Google API Services User Data Policy disclosures.
3.4 Lead and call data
- Lead contact details and form answers imported from Facebook or entered manually
- Call recordings, transcripts, qualification notes, and callback recommendations
- Usage logs related to wallet balance, calls, and platform activity
3.5 Payment information
Wallet top-ups are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Stripe provides us with payment status, customer IDs, and transaction references.
3.6 Technical and usage data
- IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps
- Authentication tokens stored in your browser (see our Cookie Policy)
- Error logs and security events needed to operate and protect the service
4. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the AI Social Agent platform
- Sync Facebook Lead Ads into your private dashboard in real time
- Enable AI-assisted outbound calls, Messenger replies, and comment management you configure
- Process prepaid wallet usage and Stripe payments
- Send service, billing, and callback notification emails you opt into
- Comply with law, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests
- Improve reliability and product features using aggregated, non-identifying analytics where possible
We use Meta platform data only to provide the features you enable for your connected Pages. We do not sell lead data or Facebook data to third-party data brokers.
5. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your location, we rely on:
- Contract — to deliver the service you signed up for
- Legitimate interests — to secure the platform, prevent fraud, and improve reliability
- Consent — where required for optional communications or specific integrations
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose data under applicable law
6. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Infrastructure and service providers that help us host and operate the platform (for example cloud hosting, databases, email delivery, telephony, speech AI, and payment processing)
- Meta / Facebook when you use Facebook-connected features (for example publishing posts, retrieving leads, or sending Messenger replies through the Graph API)
- Your authorized team members within your organization workspace
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
We require subprocessors to protect data under contractual obligations appropriate to their role.
7. Data retention
We retain account and lead data while your account is active and for a limited period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain backups. When you delete your account or disconnect Facebook, we remove or de-identify associated data within a reasonable period, subject to backup retention cycles and legal requirements.
See our Data Deletion Instructions for steps to delete your data.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage of sensitive tokens where applicable, access controls, and tenant isolation so each customer only accesses their own workspace data.
9. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and Canada, where our infrastructure providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards when data crosses borders.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
- Request portability of data you provided
To exercise these rights, email seleneratech@gmail.com or follow the steps in our Data Deletion Instructions. You can also disconnect Facebook at any time under Integrations → Connect Facebook → Disconnect.
11. Children
AI Social Agent is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate.
